- Franco Cazzola aka TEK was born in Turin , Italy on 3th of april 1979. He started loving music at the age of five or six years old listening to the greatest hits of 80's on the radio. Some years later TEK was nine years old when Guns 'n' Roses publishe..Franco Cazzola aka TEK was born in Turin , Italy on 3th of april 1979. He started loving music at the age of five or six years old listening to the greatest hits of 80's on the radio. Some years later TEK was nine years old when Guns 'n' Roses published "Appetite for destruction" , and so he began to listen to glam rock and heavy metal, started playin' electric guitar and his love for music become bigger and bigger till the age of 16. In 1995 some tribes of ravers began to organize illegal parties in the north of Italy, and so TEK discovered his attitude for electronic music listening to the 90's techno-hardcore at those raves parties. In a couple of years he started to compose and create music with sequencers and drum machines. From 1997 till 1999 the musical attitude of TEK began to shift in electro music and he started also working as PR in some underground parties in many clubs of Turin (Centralino club , The Beach°, etc...). In the following period TEK continued to produce his music using laptop synths and various outboard machines and his tracks was getting more professional. In 2003 music was for TEK just a reason of life and he began to create his live set (using Ableton Live and more outboard controllers and machines). One year later TEK started to play his liveset in an underground club of his town (dr. Sax Music Club) in on of the must famous after-parties of Italy. In 2004 TEK and his best friend MARCELO TAG created a recording studio called NASTY RECORDS and started to work as a phonic and music producer cooperating with many italian musicians , djs and producers and consolidate his ability in producing and mixing techno-minimal and electronic in general.
