Amsterdam-based DJ and producer.Known for stirring up a grooving blend of Acid, Oldschool House and Micro House, The Dutchess, born in tulip country The Netherlands, is putting down her vibrant sets all over the international club scene. Traveling around the world but with her roots in Amsterdam, The Dutchess is proud to have had residencies at AO. Club NL and Club ABE. Her gigs include, annually spinning at Amsterdam Dance Event’s Playground, frequently playing at Bar Américas (Guadalajara) and having home base at Void Acoustics equipped La Mezcaleria Ajijic. People have described The Dutchess' sound as gutsy and spirited. A perfect fusion of Oldschool House and stimulating bass grooves riding on the exciting new wave the Acid House movement is currently undergoing. Effortlessly she will drive the night, taking the crowds on a dynamic journey through a soundscape of subgenres, seamlessly blending to construct her own unique style. The Dutchess' life passion is to connect people through electronic music, creating a sense of timelessness and unity on the dance floor. Working passionately on her own productions she is determined to get her music out into the world. The Dutchess' first tracks in collaboration with John Ugalde was released at Canadian label 'Dub Collective Recordings' and her second track is already lined up to be released at Amsterdam based label 'Cachai Music'. Always ready to rumble and rock she will do anything within her power to bring the house down with her pumping beats.
