- The Ripped is a Chilean techno dj & produced owner of the label Utch Records.Who is The Ripped? Owner, producer & dj of label and platform UTCH RECORDS UTCH is a record label, records store and producer of events specialized in techno music based in Santiago of Chile. Utch Records / Utch Corp is destined to promote electronic music artists on an international scale. The Label is a project of The Ripped aka The Gm26 as an artistic outlet for forward thinking techno music. The Ripped works offer hypnotic melodies that move through different intensities of darkness. These works are built on industrial and futuristic soundscapes based on repetition (or suspension) of a sound or note that remains constant throughout the duration of the piece. This pattern tends to be reinforced by the use of saturated reverbs, delays and echoes giving the listener the sensation of being enveloped by a deep, intense and serious sound. Normally these atmospheres are driven by cold and constant rhythm characteristic of Birmingham techno, kick, bassline, hi hat, rides mechanical loops and tribal percussions carefully mixed where the pitch seems to slowly rise to a spiritual trip that produces a frantic hypnotism sonorous between body & mind. He has played with artists like Oscar Mulero, Marcell Dettmann, Nina Kraviz, I Hate Models, Rodhad, Zadig, Kobosil, Perc, Abdulla Rashim, Jonas Kopp, Snts, Developer, Stephan Bodzin, Kwartz, Abstract Division, Eduardo de la Calle, Pacou, Steve Rachmad, Exium, Polar Inertia, Reeko, Mika Vainio, Claudio Prc, Pfirter, Tensal, Birth of Frequency and other quality techno artists. He is currently working with labels such as Illegal Alien, Limited Germany, Android Muzik, Panel Trax, Par Recordings, K-84, Labrynth, Future Abduction Muzik and the own label Utch Records. The Ripped has played in Clubs and festivals of electronic music like Tresor (Berlin), Under Club (Arg) Grottan (Sweden),Sugar Factory (Amsterdam), Moog (Spain), Cocoiche (Arg), Amsterdam Club (Cl), Earthdance festival, La Osa (Arg), Love Parade (Cl), Sonika Festival (Swe), Nova (Bcn), City Hall (Bcn), Mas Bass (Arg), Svaj (Swe), La Feria (Cl), Lupino (Bcn), Blondie (Cl), Princesa 23 (Bcn), Caffe 44 (Swe), Nave Luna (Cl) and others have secured his name.
