- "THRIVE" are Tetsuya Yoshida and Hitoshi Kojima. They both grew up in the Northern Tokyo area. The music they were influenced by are various from Alternative,Progressive,Phychedelic band music to House,Techno,Disco,Balearic,Cosmic,Hip Hop,Dub…all kin.."THRIVE" are Tetsuya Yoshida and Hitoshi Kojima. They both grew up in the Northern Tokyo area. The music they were influenced by are various from Alternative,Progressive,Phychedelic band music to House,Techno,Disco,Balearic,Cosmic,Hip Hop,Dub…all kinds of dance music. They first met at the club run by Tetsuya Yoshida called SOUND A BASE NEST, which is known as having the best sound system in Northern Kanto area. In 2007, the duo started their DJ / Producing unit "THRIVE". In June 2010, "Leave It Alone EP" was released on SEEDS AND GROUND label that is owned by the legendary KAORU INOUE aka CHARI CHARI. In the same year in November, their 2nd EP "Anarchy In The Nest EP" was released. Their tracks will be released on several overseas labels in the near future.
