- Progressive House DJ/Producer based in Plymouth Uk. Resident DJ for Melodic Beats Podcast. Has releases on Melodic Beats Recordings, Limbo Records & Limbo Black.Tim French is a Britsh Progressive & Melodic House DJ/Producer based in Plymouth UK. He spent the Nineties playing to large audiences across the South West of the UK including renowned nights Scream & United held at Plymouth’s legendary Warehouse. Also playing at many popular clubs and nights such as Drop Zone & Boss Nova at the Sound Factory (Plymouth UK), The Monastery (Torquay UK), The Grove (Seaton UK) as well as various other venues throughout the South West of England. Throughout this time, Tim held residencies at Shine & Eye-con at the Dance Academy and The Candy Store in Plymouth. He has played alongside dance music greats such as Danny Howell’s, Quivver, Lee Burridge, Jody Wisternoff, Billy Nasty, Parks & Wilson, Nippa, Jose C, Breeze, Alan Luvdup, Tom Wainwright and Mark EG to name a few. Tim is Currently a resident DJ on the global “Melodic Beats Podcast” platform and has a monthly radio show “Connected’ on Beach Radio. He is continually requested to provide guest mixes of streaming platforms such as Frisky Radio, Proton Radio, AATM, Saturo Sounds and guest at various Clubs and Festivals across the Uk & Europe. In June 2020 Tim had his debut release Roodles “I Know” on the newly established “Melodic Beats Recordings” Label receiving critical acclaim with many Radio and podcast plays across the globe. He followed this up in November with his second release “Short Stuff” on Legendary Progressive house label “Limbo Records” which featured remixes from Nila and Pablo Gargano. This release reached No.8 in the UK Upfront Dance Chart and No.19 in the Beatport Progressive House Chart with support across the spectrum. Since then the production gates have truly been opened with him having original releases and remixes on such labels as Perfecto Black , Forensic Records, Lost Language, Pangea Recordings, Stripped digital, Limbo, Affiliate, Melodic Beats Recordings and Resonate together. With these receiving great support from the likes of Nick Muir, Gai Barone, Nick Warren, Lemon 8, Anthony Pappa, Oliver & Tom, DJ Ruby, Elke Klein and several Beatport top ten chart positions. On top of his original releases he was part of the remix package for Prog House classic Gypsy “ I Trance You” on Limbo records which hit the No.1 spot in the UK Upfront Dance Music Chart in December 2021. 2023 has been Tim most successful to date with him achieving 2x Beatport #1 in the Electronica Releases Chart, #1 in The Electronica Hype chart and multiple top tens in the Progressive House releases chart. Hie Most successful track Veritas (Truth) has been in the Beatport Electronica chart 129 days peaking at #1 & #2 for the Phil Jubb and Originals mixes. He hopes to continue this trend with scheduled releases planned on Hooj Choons , Capital Heaven, Melodic Beats Recordings, Voodoo & Prayers and Stripped Digital already in the offing.
