- TOBI(aRt.Optimist.) house minimal jazzSince he started violin at the age of 6, he has always had music in his life. Being a beautyist in Omotesando and Shang Hi, he has also been active as a DJ. In a salon in Omotesando, he is in charge of the music devices, and also at an apperel shop opening party in Shang-hi. Given his experience of classic music and the orchestra, he believes that DJing is a form of a live orchestra, only more. Centering on minimal, his mixes varies from house to techno down tempo. Using live sounds with hard, Tobi expertises in his tactful and emotional balielic play style. In 2006, he started the event"aRt". The theme is to combine beauty, food, photograph...etc and transmit through music. From March of 2010, aRt changed its base to Organ Bar, always ready with a compulation such as DJ and jazz band sessions. This sensuous event of fashion, art, and cuisines are open on the second monday of every uneven numbered month. Other activities; took part in the out door music festival "Burning Japan", Optimist@air, regular event "Vinyll Junkies Only" with Tatsuo Sunaga @Organ Bar...etc Tobi's activities mainly take part in Tokyo. Centering on aRt, Tobi's actions varies over several areas. He has also organized a new year party inviting Michael Klein from Berlin, OPTIMIST at Daikanyama Air, and a lounge concept event "pit". He is also working on an ambient composition project with Asian Psilocybe Foundation. Henceforth, he may act as a unit with Asian Pcilocybe Foundation, and release collaboration tracks.
