Tom Page had a keen interest in a wide variety of music from and early age. His dad was a keen record collector so was surrounded by Northern Soul, Rock n Roll, Punk, Jazz, Blues, R&B as well as the latest Indie and alternative sounds that were breaking in the early 1980's. He went to his fist proper live gig for his 9th birthday and he knew music would be a major factor in his life from then on. For his 11th Birthday he got an Electric guitar, but it wasn't until his brother got a drum kit a year or 2 later that he realised that grooves and rhythms were what really ticked all the boxes for him. He soon picked up the drums, and taught himself. by the age of 15 he was playing in several bands at school (guitar in some, drums in others). These were mainly Indie/Britpop & Grunge bands. Although he loved guitar music and playing in bands he was also massively into US Hip Hop and Also Some Electronic Music by then. (Also influences brought to him by his father). By 16 even though he was still playing with several bands in the evenings after school he saved up and bought himself a pair of belt drive turntables and started playing his dads old records, before long he started acquiring some records of his own. He got the bug for mixing records and soon started delving deeper into Underground Electronic Music. He soon decided that Belt Drive turntables just didn't quite cut it, he saved some money then in 1998 at the age of18 he bought his first pair of Technics 1200 Mk2's. Around this time there was really good underground "Free Party"/"Rave" scene in his local area (The Lake District, UK) and every weekend there would be an illegal party somewhere close by. You would often find a Convoy of 20 or more cars searching the fields for that weekends party. Before long he was beginning to find himself playing at a few of these parties, but it wasn't until October 1999 that things really changed, a few friends used to frequent "The Orbit" in Morley, they kept going on and on about how good it was. He finally got round to tagging along. When he walked in Claude Young was doing his thing. He had never heard music mixed like this before. He had found his calling, and from then until the club closed a few years later he would make the 3 1/2 hour round trip nearly every time it was open. Fast forward about 15 years and Techno Music is still a massive factor in his life. He currently holds residencies with CUBASE FM in Germany and FNOOB Techno Radio. When he is not putting together radio shows he is currently working on developing his own sound in terms of production and hopes to have something ready for release in late 2016. In the meantime he is poised to launch Techno vinyl & Digital label "Disjointed Reality Recordings" on Record Store Day (16/04/2016). He also will be a resident at a new Techno night in Liverpool "Tribe".
