- Driving, atmospheric and hypnotic electronic sounds.Traumata is a DJ and producer who loves playing atmospheric and hypnotising Techno as well as Tech House sets. In doing so he also makes sure to focus on both quality and technique. He is continuously expanding his repertoire of electronic music by combining old tracks with new ones and turning them into an harmonic set, people are bound to be dancing all night long. When growing up in Vienna, Martin early followed his passion for electronic music and spent numerous nights dancing and partying at all kinds of events. From Acid and Free Tekno to Detroit and Hard Techno – those nights were filled with pretty much everything that is played in 4/4 beat making the body rave. Already as a teenager Martin has started to play his sets at various parties, there he gained plenty of experience. But the adventure begins in 2016 when he played his first gig at Die Kantine which opened many doors for him. As many DJs, Traumata got his initial exposure performing at a variety of local venues, where he is part of the collective hausgemacht. Over the last years, Traumata developed a versatile and dynamic style of DJing that made him one of the first resident DJs of Vienna’s infamous Wiener Tanz Freunde which are techno event organisers in Vienna. Through some productive studio sessions, in 2017 he prepared his new soundingtracks, which have received promising feedbacks from all across the scene. In the same year his first release Groovin Casmos was on a compilation for Universal Love Tribe and 2018 he released together with Rabo his first EP called Solation on Aerochrone. His own music has provided him with a chance to reveal another side, perhaps this is also the reason why Traumata is still known as the DJ who is dancing behind the decks, putting his heart and soul into it. Being a passionate DJ, Traumata loves to excite people with his pulsating and powerful, yet melodic sets charged with emotions. This extraordinary blend is also well-reflected in his podcasts „TANZ DICH FREI“ on SoundCloud. In the past years he has been invited to perform at many well-known techno clubs including Grelle Forelle, Flex, Club Spielplatz plus festivals such as Spirit Base Festival or Spontan Techno where he has played together with top DJs and producers from all over the world.
