- With releases on Too many Rules, Distance Music and Happy Records and support from some of their favourite influencers including Sidney Charles, Marco Carola and Max Chapman in 2019, the duo TwoSlice are looking to take things to the next level in 2020.Their first release of 2020 ‘Georges Groove’ was snapped up by Javi Bora’s infamous ‘Too Many Rules’ label, supported by Groove Armada, Roger Sanchez, Steve Lawler, Francisco Allendes and more. With a steady schedule of releases confiremd for this year, TwoSlice want to finish 2020 as a serious one to watch for the decade ahead! The TwoSlice journey started as local childhood friends when Jamie and Charlie would regularly spend hours recording with whatever they could get their hands on, perfecting their sound and skills on guitar, bass and drums. Both had a diverse interest in music while growing up from hip-hop, jazz, disco and funk which features heavily in their grooving house sounds. The driving factor in their production is ensuring these influences combined with their infatuation with the classic 4/4 club sound shine through- and this is know different when they get behind the decks. A TwoSlice set oozes character, charisma, soul and groove in a mission to deter the less inspiring corners of house music.
