- Mike van Beuren aka Vanmyke is a Dj, producer and promoter for contemporary electronic music. He is currently based in Amsterdam were he play's every week at Boom Chicago and at Marquee Lounge. He also hosts and produces a monthly podcast published..Mike van Beuren was born in Mexico City. He Began playing in 2002 at local parties and events where he met Arcadio Farias with whom he created Afrodisiak Collective focusing on event production and new media music distribution in their events working together with Simbioptic visual art collective combining multi-sensory performances. Later he worked together with Aquatic Forces collective and joined Act-G and his Electro-sounds label. In 2006 he began his european experience by moving to Milano, Italy followed by Barcelona, Spain and currently working for Pencil Brain records in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In late 2009 he joined the audiovisual collective project called The international chiles together with his former partner Arcadio Farias and his former visual art’s teacher Marco Calderon in which they use auditive and visual expressions to manifest their thoughts in a symbolic way through out different festivals around europe.
