- He is truely a pioneer of electronic music. In the business since middle of the 80s he produced countless tunes. His repertoire ranges from Downbeat to melodic and deep Techno.English: Starting with a Commodore C 64 computer, he got hold of almost every good electronic sound generator through the years. His love for electronic dance beats and soundscapes in conjunction with his sound engineer education and obsessed perfectionism led to many productions of the highest quality. Inspired by a visit at Café del Mar on Ibiza, he made a trip to Downbeat during the millenium. In the end, it should last well over a decade and not only bring forth Vargo, but also establish him as a well known chillout-name worldwide. He created three artist albums, countless EPs and eight own compilations, which all entered the top of the iTunes electronic charts, most of them on his own label Ambient Domain. Vargo’s tracks appeared on more than 200 Compilations, among them the famous Buddha Bar or Café del Mar, on wich he alone had 15 releases. The tunes "Get Back to Serenity“, "The Moment“, and "One Language" became chillout world hits, all of which made Vargo's music a defining influence on the genre. There's hardly a beach bar where Vargos music was and is not played. Now he starts to share his enthusiasm for contemporary electronic music. Inspired by the current development of melodic techno and downbeat, he curates his successful radio show “Lost in Music” on Planet Radio and plays thrilling sets at numerous festivals and in clubs. His EP "100" was recently released on Katermukke's sister label MUKKE from Berlin. Due to his pursuit for Development, transformation is the credo of Vargo. And so it is not surprising that he plays as well at the Katermukke Showcase, spinning as resident DJ at big festivals like Deichbrand, as making trips to the trance music at the New Healing or Antaris Festival. In addition, since 2017, Vargo's "Sundowner" events on the Baltic Sea beach are enjoying great popularity. This is where a genre- and thus human-connecting journey through time really takes place. Starting with early Vargo sounds in classic lounge style on the beach, people are stylishly chilled, to be slowly taken over by melodic contemporary dance beats. Electronic music connects people. Dancing, chilling. In Vargo the mysterious connecting element of electronic music is alive. His sets are journeys of spiritual depth. Wether playing big festivals or small clubs: always perfect for the place and the moment the electro-gentleman is one with the enthusiastic dancers and celebrates life with his deep and stunning sets. ------------------- German: Er ist wahrlich ein Pionier der elektronischen Musik. Im Business seit Mitte der 80er produzierte er zahllose Tracks. Beginnend mit einem Commodore C 64 Computer, wanderte mit den Jahren fast jeder gut klingende elektronische Klangerzeuger durch seine Hände. Seine Liebe zu elektronischen Dance Beats und Klanglandschaften in Verbindung mit einer Tonmeisterausbildung und obsessivem Perfektionismus führte fast zwangsläufig zu vielen Produktionen höchster Qualität. Inspiriert durch einen Besuch am Café del Mar auf Ibiza, unternahm er zum Millenium einen Ausflug in den Downbeat. Er sollte letztendlich weit mehr als eine Dekade andauern und Vargo nicht nur hervorbringen, sondern weltweit als Chillout-Grösse etablieren. Er kreierte drei Artist-Alben, zahllose EPs und acht eigene Compilations, die alle die Spitze der iTunes Electronic Charts erklommen, die meisten davon auf dem eigenen Label Ambient Domain. Seine Tracks erschienen auf mehr als 200 Compilations, unter ihnen die berühmte Buddha Bar und Café del Mar, auf der er allein 15 Veröffentlichungen hat. Die Titel „Get Back to Serenity“, "The Moment“ und „One Language“ wurden Chillout-Welthits. All das führte dazu, dass Vargos Musik dieses Genre massgeblich prägte. Kaum eine Strandbar, in der nicht Vargos Musik gespielt wurde und wird. Nun hat er sich aufgemacht, seine Begeisterung für zeitgenössische elektronische Musik zu teilen. Inspiriert von der aktuellen Entwicklung im Melodic Techno und Downbeat, kuratiert er erfolgreich seine Radioshow LOST IN MUSIC auf Planet Radio und spielt packende Sets auf zahlreichen Festivals und in Clubs. Seine aktuelle EP „100“ ist kürzlich auf Katermukkes Schwesterlabel MUKKE aus Berlin erschienen. Immer nach Entwicklung strebend, ist Transformation das Credo Vargos. Und so verwundert es auch nicht, dass er sowohl beim Katermukke Showcase spielt, als Resident-DJ grosse Festivals wie das Deichbrand rockt, als auch Ausflüge in die Trancemusik beim New Healing- oder Antaris-Festival unternimmt. Elektronische Musik verbindet Menschen. Beim Tanzen, beim Chillen. In Vargo ist das geheimnisvolle verbindende Element der elektronischen Musik lebendig. Seine Sets sind Reisen spiritueller Tiefe.
