- Vitalic is the alter ego of Pascal Arbez, a French programmer/multi-instrumentalist who blends electro, techno, and house -- as well as elements of classical, rock, Italo-disco, and '70s electronic music -- into a sound that recalls the work of fellow..A producer that’s perpetually reinventing himself, Vitalic is able to mix techno, rock, disco, pop and punk with equal energy. And yet Vitalic is much more than just the sum of his studio albums - from the very beginning of his career, he has proved his love for electronic live shows, a genre that he has legitimised (in the same way as Etienne de Crécy, Daft Punk and Justice, for example) through his electrifying, near-psychedelic concerts. Recently resurrecting his alias Dima with which he started attracting attention back in the day, remixing the greats such as Daft Punk, Björk, Royksopp, Paul Kalkbrenner but also Indochine, Etienne Daho, Amadou and Mariam and many others; Vitalic never stops. He forms the duo KOMPROMAT with Rebeka Warrior (ex Sexy Sushi), and in the process, celebrates twenty years of his career, announcing the release of his fifth album DISSIDÆNCE. -- Producteur perpétuellement en train de se remettre en question, Vitalic est capable de mélanger techno, rock, disco, pop et punk avec la même énergie. Un artiste qu’on ne saurait réduire à ses albums studio tant, dès le début de sa carrière, il a prouvé son amour pour le live électronique auquel il a donné (aux côtés d’Etienne de Crécy, des Daft Punk ou de Justice, par exemple) ses lettres de noblesse avec ses concerts électrisants et psychédéliques. Ressuscitant il y a peu de temps son alias Dima avec lequel il avait commencé à se faire connaître, remixant à tour de bras les plus grands tels que Daft Punk, Björk, Royksopp, Paul Kalkbrenner mais aussi Indochine, Etienne Daho, Amadou et Mariam et bien d'autres; Vitalic ne s'arrête pas.
