Best known as 2/3rds of the punk-funk indie music behemoths The Rapture, the duo have worked with some of the great musical innovators and egos of this young century like James Murphy, Zdar and Timbaland. They have toured the world as musicians and DJ’s playing everywhere from sweat soaked basements to raving mad crowds numbering in the tens of thousands. Yet, despite their years of experience, they remain as passionate as ever, still reverently greeting each day on planet earth as if it’s their first. A pure love of music, sound, and dance floors motivates them keep their heads down hiding-out in their solitary rooftop studio on the edge of Brooklyn and Queens making irreverent yet finely crafted workmen-like tomes to darkness, light, dancing bodies and open hearts. Each day Vito&Druzzi imagine the world of sound anew utilizing their breath and bodies, rhythm machines and synths, cyborg compatriots and every tool at their disposal. Sometimes twisted, often soulful, these are dance-floor fillers for a forgotten future.
