- VYN·1 is a musical artist and synthetist from Lima, Peru. Focus on hipnotic, deep, sci-fi Techno and broken Ambient/Drone with releases on Illegal Alien Records, B55 Records, Trau-ma for name a few.VYN·1 is a musical project from Lima, Peru that focus stricly on the most purist mood of techno. Born in middle of ninetees, Juan Chavez starts his relations with electronic music when was a teenager, moving from different sounds until arrives in Techno. After moving to Buenos Aires, decides to start to get involved into music production. For him is hard to define his style, but is clearly marked by the use of hard grooved percusions, dark basses and mental dirty sounds with some brushes of sci-fi and ambient drones, influenced by Oscar Mulero, Jeff Mills, Mike Parker Surgeon, P.A.S. and styles like Afro-peruvian Music, Jazz, Thrash or Death Metal and Classical Music.
