- Yard One is the collaborative guise of UK duo Jordan Bruce and Larry Jones, respectively based out of Den Haag, Netherlands and Manchester, UK.Yard One is the collaborative guise of UK duo Jordan Bruce and Larry Jones, respectively based out of Den Haag, Netherlands and Manchester, UK. The pair began working together in 2015, delivering their debut long player 'When Elements Collide' that year which explored a variety of styles from raw House and Techno through to Ambient, Downtempo and Electronica to showcase their depth of influences. This inaugural foray into releasing music together paved the way for the pair to develop their sound and ever since they’ve gone to release material on imprints like Unclear, with a remix L.I.E.S regular Simoncino, the revered Japanese imprint Sound Of Vast, remixes of Shaun J. Wright & Alinka on their Twirl imprint, and Roger Van Lantern for Diffuse Reality, as well as of course their own Tact Recordings and it’s vinyl only sub-label Tactics amongst other output. Notable regular supporters of the pairs works are Cosmin TRG, Raresh, Malin Genie, Roger Gerressen, Cinthie, BD1982 and Dorian Paic to name a few, as well as channels like XL8R, Mixmag and DJ Mag, a telling sign of the pairs ability to craft raw, understated electronic music.
