- Yoshiki started his DJ career in the mid 90's in his hometown Osaka. He broke new ground, playing what we call now click techno and minimal house at the time.Yoshiki started his DJ career in the mid 90's in his hometown Osaka. He broke new ground, playing what we call now click techno and minimal house at the time. His love and curiosity for music made him move to London and Berlin in 2003 and he immersed himself in European club scene under the pretext of overseas study programs. He started producing music at the same time and integrated his new aesthetic and inspiration from the local club scene into his productions and DJ sets. After returning to Japan, he has been playing along with international DJ's as well as collaborating with talented local underground DJ's. At the party, yoshiki does not only play records but also enjoys music with people on the dance floor, sharing the moment, free his mind to the music. He plays heavy and low, straightforward dark tracks mixed with pop and tricky sense of fun in his own unique style, expressing his will for defying the boundaries of techno music. In 2006, yoshiki released collaboration EP with Fumiya Tanaka/Karafuto from Torema Records, and other collaboration with Akiko Kiyama from op.disc.
