Originally from Japan, he now lives in Berlin producing, curating, and doing what he most loves – DJing. Constantly searching for that magical moment, when the DJ and audience both are enveloped by a rich, warm, and surprising sound, he regularly carries the audience on a sonic journey. His story began in his mid-teens, influenced by Japanese street culture and naturally gravitated towards digging and finding rare records and sounds. Not constrained by any genre, he is fearless in his search for the ideal, long mix which always leaves joy on the dance floor. After several years as a resident DJ for Sunday afternoon parties at Womb (Club) in Tokyo, he joined forces with the Fasten Musique crew to create a label and event brand. With this new crew, he brought international DJs to Tokyo and started to produce and remix for various famous labels. After relocating to Berlin, he started to tour and play around the world at various iconic venues. From playing in secret after parties on the coast of Croatia to playing large warehouse venues, his play style and track selection always gets the crowd grooving and dancing until hours pass by in seconds. Also pushing the boundaries of music production, he created his own label Phonik in 2018. Starting with his own EP “Thoughts or Feelings” he displays and presents to the world his own unique views on house music. Both his productions and DJ sets showcase his emotional depth, his masterful control of mixing, and most importantly his own sonic magic.
