YR sounds are almost as “young" as his profile fotos! YR has also composed many fashion scores for runway shows, CM, and high-end fashion events. In the late 90’s YR worked at Throb Records, it’s eclectic underground sounds made his character, his edge, schooling, and background… YR is originally one half of “Height 611” and “Houz-town” who remixed many famous artist in the past and even now! Height 611 / Houz-town productions (Young Richard & The Late Peter A.) was a new version of hard house meets industrial sounds, and bass heavy kicks with subs that that filled all of the main rooms of the club scene. DJ’s like Danny and Junior played these tracks in their sets and floors! X-beat was a sound with the kick being 3/3 rather than the traditional 4/4 pattern. Artist like Dj Pierre, Wild Pitch, Felix Da Housecat, Gomi, Stephane K were all making the sound too. Height 611 tracks were released and license with the help of Johnny Vicious & our former Manager Aurelie Cotugno through out France and the UK! Our programmers and early music tech buddies included Hiroshi Watanabe, Syunji Moriwaki, Eddie Davis who are credited as programmers for most of our discography! YR resident parties in nyc were “The Make-Up Room” Webster hall VIP room ( 3 years ) “QUEEN” Webster hall main room (1 year) “Tunnel” (1 year) main floor and “Save The Robots” after-hours (1 year) Along with guest spots with big names like Danny Tanneglia, Eric Morillo, at Twilo, Limelight, The Palladium, all once super clubs in nyc from late 1995 era! YR concerts as a support deejay or opening act in NY include “The Orb” at Roseland, “Bjork” Webster-hall, “Nine Inch Nails” Clive Barker at Light Wisdom and Sound. Young Richard played in Club Matilda (Venice), toured France 4 times on radio shows like FJ, raves, Rex Club -Paris, The Queen -Paris, Lan-fer -Dijon. Young Richard escaped New York in 1999, and relocated to Tokyo. guest spots at venues like Yellow, Womb, Liquid Loft, Rokets (Osaka) w/Hiroshi Watanabe, Maniac Love, Re-stir reopening (Ginza), Le Baron with names like Tadanobu Asano + Dj Uppercut, Towa Tei, Hinotama Hall (Okinawa), Mago (Nagoya) @Cesari (Nagoya) “Allodi-R” w/Franck Blondin @Tokyo Salon, Vivienne Sato “Party Monster” “Short Bus movie premier” Secor bar, “Electrics” with Ken Morioka and Susan “Tubes debut” Gunze/ BodyWild. residents parties in Tokyo: "K" Club Asia "Flak" Core “language" bul-lets “electro box” LaFabrique, Faubourg, Maniac Love "bad language" aoiheya/ blue room “ËŁ FĪŃ" Chca “Interstellar” Dimension his recent works and remix collaborations featuring “Wa-lectronica” sounds, experimental-down-tempo-noise, with vocalist from Berlin like “Billie Ray Martin” includes dreamy Koto, mysterious Shakuhachi, classical Floutist from “Hanatemari” or jazz pianist like Daisuke Niitome of “mouse on the keys”. “Next-Wave” sounds are hard edge west coast guitarist “William Hokuto-Bill White” with 1980 new wave and techno feeling. Along with NY vocalist like “Breeze”, and Tokyo vocalist and song writer Kaori Kaneko of “Language” The finish sounds are often “ahead of it’s time” “no genre” or unclassified?
