When words fail to express the ineffable, music offers a helping hand. Yugen is also the name a new electronic music incarnation. Listening to his music, it’s hard not to sink into a state of contemplation. Not only do his bombastic soundscapes and mesmerizing rhythms conjure up images of mysterious beauty, they also appeal to some of our deepest emotions. Yugen is not new to the scene. As one of the driving forces behind the Konstrukt imprint, he has already released a series of tracks under different monnikers. And let’s not forget his several decades of experience behind the decks. But Yugen may be his boldest project to date: a musical exploration of his inner most thoughts.
