- Sergio Bravo - also known as Yuko - was born in Madrid in 1982. He began his career in electronic music influenced by mid-90s’ Spanish Hip Hop but it was not until 1999 when, out of curiosity, he practised on turntables at a friend’s home and became in..Though initially a disciple of the purest Detroit sound -through productions by Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and later Jeff Mills - he became a self-confessed addict of British Techno, attracted by the music that artists like Surgeon, Regis, James Ruskin, Oliver Ho, Ben Sims and Mark Broom were then making. This was to be the greatest influence and therefore his most constant style - with the darkest Spanish production from the hands of Reeko, Exium, Cristian Wunsch or Oscar Mulero (to cite a few of his preferred Spanish artists) being added little by little. His desire to experiment, however, also led him to explore other facets of electronic music. His sets are characterised by long, rapid mixes in search of the perfect EQ, accompanied by impressive technical skill on the turntables. In the last ten years he has played at several clubs, first at TBO in Madrid, then at others in the area: Key Club, Bandudu Xcrass, QualityClub, Buda Móstoles, Cava Club and 909. Later he played at more important venues in the Spanish capital, such as the legendary Van-Vas and the Sala Arena. During this time, he also took part in the parties at the Voltereta in Alcorcón –now closed. Also he has been a member of the Cubic-Club group for two years. In 2005, he made a qualitative move by entering - and winning - the “Cultura Techno” radio competition, at that time on the Loca FM channel. This allowed him to play the Code sessions at Fabrik on various occasions. He has shared line up with some great names on the national and international Techno scene like Regis, James Ruskin, Oliver Ho, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, Valentino Kanzyani, Joris Voorn, Reeko, Exium, Muerto and Pepo. In 2010, he moved to London, where he belongs to the Fluid collective and has performed several times in clubs such as Hysteria, Cargo or Public Life In 2014, he started to run his new project 5-HT.̸http://www.discogs.com/artist/4589259-Yuko-18
