- Dj & ProducerZeynep Erbay is no newcomer. A classically trained pianist who took a turn towards the dance-floor while at university. Turkish DJ/producer earned her first release on Compost Records after taking part in Red Bull Music Academy programme. Since then, her career has been on an upwards trajectory, with releases on Fool's Gold, Soul Clap Records, NuNorthen Soul and Exploited is confirming that Erbay as a genuine rising star of underground electronic music. Studying music theory from a young age, she grew a deep understanding of rhythm and sound. It was later, however, during her university that she was introduced to the beats of the dance floor, when she began curating radio shows for influential local stations in Istanbul. Her remix for Underground System and Soul Clap made heads turn and captured significant attention within the scene. Supported by names like Soul Clap, Fish Go Deep, Horse Meat Disco, Chloe and Perel, Zeynep's music resonates within the electronic music community. Acknowledgment from stalwarts like Damian Lazarus, Bill Brewster, and Richard Dorfmeister further underscores her versatility, allowing her music to find a home in diverse settings, from outdoor events to intimate listening sessions.
