- Pedro was born in Lisbon and began DJing in the early 2000s, after a few years of hand clapping and feet tapping. He's been involved in sound and music ever since. Without following any trends or particular music influences, he was always digging in..Pedro was born in Lisbon and began DJing in the early 2000s, after a few years of hand clapping and feet tapping. He's been involved in sound and music ever since. Without following any trends or particular music influences, he was always digging in record shops and putting his ears out looking for new sonic landscapes that are bass-driven and have jazzy rhythms, House soul, but most of all, a vibe. In 2003, Pedro won an International DJ Competition and was chosen as Best National DJ by Paul Oakenfold and Daniele Davoli. Compelled by a desire to learn new skills in the world of sound, he moved to London where he graduated in Sound Engineering at SAE. In 2009, his love of partying and organising events led him to co-found Dubscover & Techscover, an event where you can discover new talent in Bass Music. Pedro has shared booths with some of the world's finest DJs and has been spinning in some of the most respectful clubs in the UK and Portugal. Behind the decks, steps up Pedro's alter ego, Zorion. Joy and energy starts flowing into the dancefloor, taking you on a journey where sound modulates your senses and melodies resonate through your body. In 2010, Pedro took on a new challenge and got involved in youth education, teaching music production. A year later, Pedro was appointed DMU´s Musical Director at Paddington Arts Academy, London, leading a class of young students. Dedicating most of his time to electronic music production, Pedro is currently working on a Live Act named WetSignal. His latest venture is Prime Skillz, where he develops educational programs in sound and music.
