Legotek is a collective of artists in an Israeli-German alliance, with focus on generating art in all its forms into few or specific, concept-directed events.
Established in 2007, as a group of dj’s, producing & promoting different music events throughout Tel-Aviv - Israel, and soon realizing there’s much more that can be done.
After establishing a strong connection with upcoming artists in Germany, Legotek soon started working on their future as a bigger business with more purpose.
In June 2010, Legotek self-produced and released their 1st 4 tracks EP, featuring tracks from one of Legotek’s founders Nir Ivenizki, upcoming talent Dot, Microghost & Christian Reich.
Legotek’s musical areas are versatile and with a strong emphasis on groovy sound: from dub, lounge & electronica, to techier, Minimal, tribal chants, jazz and Techno.
As a label, Legotek is due to release another 2 EPs by the end of 2010 (300 copies each), a release every 2 months in 2011 and by 2012 a release every month with number of copies increasing from release to release.
The primary concept of the label is the cosmopolitan feel of it. It welcomes all artists, from different backgrounds, and gives them the unique chic and standards of Legotek. In addition, Legotek is constantly thriving for new sounds, new borders to cross, and being innovative and interesting & appealing.
Beyond music, Legotek is growing as an established booking agency, representing artists from a varied rainbow of fields(Dj’s, Photographers, Jewelers, painters and many more.)
On a different aspect, Legotek is offering a unique event design & production unit with added value of 6 yrs experience in producing art events.
The agency’s primary purpose is to progress and tune the cultural awareness of music & art in Israel & exporting Israel’s art talent overseas.
